Visio 2010 a huge let-down
I cannot tell you how disappointed I was to discover that Visio 2010 doesn’t support forward-engineering for database models. Pro and Premium both support reverse-engineering, but what use is that if you can’t push your changes back into the database? I’ve been looking forward to this since SQL Server 2008 turned out to be incompatible with Visio 2003 for Enterprise Architects. There doesn’t seem to be an Enterprise Architect edition of Visio 2010.
Honestly, it’s the only reason I ever installed Visio.
Very disappointed, Microsoft. And no longer interested in Visio. Now I’m auditioning other software.
